Do It Yourself
If you choose to do the DIY Course, this completely depends on you! The goal of this project is for you to quickly organize your photos and get them all safely backed up as soon as possible. If you have photos in just a couple locations that are easily accessible, you could finish it in a week or even a weekend! Some projects will take longer if your photos are stored in many locations, or if you have a very large number of photos to organize.
If you choose the Done for You option, the entire process typically takes about 4-6 weeks depending on how many photo sources you have, and is done completely virtually for you.
We've got you! Most people can manage the simple tech involved on their own with our step-by-step instructions, but there are those cases that are unique and require a little more support. You can submit questions to us in our private Facebook group or we offer add-on TechCheck zoom appointments where we will answer your questions in person.
Yes it does! All of your videos will be sorted and organized in the same library as your photos by year and month.
Either one! This process works for both Mac and PC, Apple IOS and Android. There are step by step instructions and videos in the course that work for both platforms.
Amazon photos is our recommended cloud service to back up your organized photo library. Amazon Photos includes free unlimited photo storage for Prime members, is simple to use, offers easy family sharing, excellent search capability, and many other benefits . You can use another cloud service such as DropBox or Google Photos if you choose for your final backup if you choose.
There are a couple of simple software programs we suggest for this project, however the costs are minimal (around $35) and they automate and significantly speed up the process of organizing your photos.
