What is the best age to photograph babies?

Yes of course! We love to have all family members participate in the baby milestone sessions to capture this fleeting time for your family. We will typically photograph baby first in up to 3 outfits, then we will do some shots at the end with siblings and other family members.

What should my baby wear?

We recommend soft, muted pastel tones for studio sessions. This color palette works well with the white studio and compliments baby's soft skin tones. We will send a full wardrobe guide after your session is booked and are happy to go over wardrobe selections with your prior to your session.

Yes we do! We have our Baby Collective which includes 3 sessions over the first year of baby's life. These popular sessions capture your child at all of the milestone stages - newborn, sitting up (6-7 mo) and their first birthday which can include a cake smash if desired.

Where do baby sessions take place?

Yes we have props needed for each stage for baby. We love minimalistic wooden toys and simple props. If you have something sentimental, like a blanket, toy or stuffy we would love to incorporate that into your session for you.

Cake Smashes are one of our favorite types of session. We have a bakery that we have worked with for years to provide the perfect size and not too sweet cakes for cake smash sessions. However you are welcome to bring your own cake if you would like, just let us know prior to your session.

What if my baby cries or is fussy?

Our absolute favorite age to photograph babies is between 6 months to one year, before they are walking. At this stage, they are developing their sweet personality, still have all the adorable baby rolls and cheeks and they aren't yet mobile so it is easier to capture many looks.

Babies cry and that's ok! We are very comfortable with all types of babies and all personalities. We do our best to maintain a calm and comforting environment in our studio that is suitable to babies. We take the time needed for each baby - some are a bit more shy and need more time, while others are outgoing and happy right away. We love capturing the unique and special qualities of every child.

Baby Milestone sessions take place in our Aliso Viejo studio, which is carefully designed for baby and mama's comfort. Our modern white studio is equipped with lighting, props, and all the necessities for baby and mama.

Can parents and siblings be included in the session?
