How far in advance should I book my session?
We suggest booking newborn and baby sessions 2-3 months in advance to allow for planning and to ensure availability on our schedule. Our family session schedule in the Fall is typically completely full by September for the year. Many of our regular families schedule their Fall session early in the year to ensure they are on the books for creating holiday cards and gifts.
What time of day do you schedule your sessions?
Outdoor family sessions take place on weekdays 1 1/2 hours before sunset or after sunrise. Newborn and baby sessions take place at our studio on weekday mornings when everyone is rested and fresh.
What should I wear for my session?
Upon booking we will send you our wardrobe styling guide for the entire family where we provide guidance on what clothing photographs best. We have wardrobe available at the studio to borrow for mamas and babies, and we can go over your wardrobe during your pre-consultation. Don't worry, we will walk you through the entire process of styling your family for your session!
Is hair and makeup included?
We do have hair and makeup available for you for an additional charge. We can help arrange the booking of your appointment for either at our studio, in your home, or the salon.
Can I get all of the digital images from my session?
Yes! Most of our clients purchase digital files and printed artwork from their session. While we really want the images we create together to be enjoyed on your walls or in an album on your coffee table, we understand the some people prefer just the digital files. They are available a la carte or with your artwork purchase.
When will I receive my artwork and images?
We try to schedule your viewing appointment within 1-2 weeks of your session. Digital images will be available the day of your appointment. Artwork will be ready within 4 weeks. We will arrange for pickup at our studio, shipping or delivery to your home.
Do you offer mini sessions?

What if I just want a few images?
Our Simple Sessions are a short 20-minute studio session with just 15-20 images to choose from. These sessions are for babies 4 months to one year, children and maternity. They are a great option for moms just wanting a few images.
